US Bank Not Customer Friendly


I opened an account with no fees with a check over $20,000 with US Bank because my Broker banked there and the funds would be available immediately. I had planned to switch over from Wells Fargo but hadn't had a chance to update all my accounts. I needed to add my daughter on the account and they said they had to open a new account so we did. I ended having a $30 balance so I thought it was still there. I used the atm for $20 and it said there was no such account so I went in and spoke to a gal at a desk. She pulled up info and said I owed $290.79. I had never received a statement or notice saying I was overdrawn or they were adding charges etc. She tried to tell me I did. I finally asked for a manager and she came over and treated me like I was a thief. I asked her to reverse the fees which was about $180.00 and I would pay the $101.84 what I owed and close it out. She did not want to work with me. I am reaching out to the corporate office for help. It was a mistake on both our parts. A credit for the $188.95 in fees and service charges and I pay what I actually owed $101.84.
