I gave US Bank one star because zero was not an option. I had a terrible experience with the branch at Buffalo and Sky Pointe specifically. My spouse and I unfortunately missed the deadline of our promotion, therefore I called the man (unprofessional man to put it lightly) and asked that they make an exception. He was condescending and promised a call back with an answer in a week. A week came and went so I called back the following Monday and was told he was in a meeting and assured that the employee urged him to call back as promised. Another week went by with no call so I called once again and the man who was to call back answered. At this point he acted very unapologetic and said he had been busy and in training. I told him I would rather speak with his supervisor and he told me he was his own supervisor, he is the branch manager. He asked why I wanted his supervisor, really!! So he finally gave me the info and said "we can't give you the promotion." This of course further upset me because he obviously had an answer for me and couldn't even find the decency to call me back. I then called his supervisor who was friendly and professional, however had no intention of offering any further assistance. He did apologize for his employees behavior. My overall feeling is that this bank works hard to get you in the door and then could care less what happens afterwards. I won't be keeping my account with them and am very dissatisfied.
