    My husband and I just opened a new account with US Bank and I finally know what the US stands for...useless and shitty. We weren't immediately offered a temporary debit card. No one was there that could help us set up an IRA account. Later, after attempting to set up mobile banking and accidentally forgetting our new password, I tried customer service to reset our password but was told I had to go into the bank to request a temporarycard/pin.     To whom it may concern: This letter is to complain about customer service I recently received from US Bank located at: 2150 Chatsworth Blvd, San Diego, CA. I recently opened a Small Business Checking Account. Upon opening the account, it was explained to me that all checks deposited for the first 30 days will be subject to a 5 day hold.     US Bank is the worst bank company ever!! In 2012 I was sent a letter by some lawyers that I needed to pay some fees. I paid the fees and was sent a letter with my paid status and a $0 balance. 6 months later in 2012, I was contacted by other lawyers that I was being sued from US Bank for the same thing! I am glad that I kept a copy of my payment and faxed over the $0 balance. It's been three years later and different lawyers are calling me about the same thing of US Bank!!     I've been trying to explain a deposit that was made over a week ago to a lady on the phone. She explained to me I had to submit certain docments. I asked if there was a phone number I could call to speak directly to risk management. She said no only email. So I submitted my documents by taking pictures and emailing them.     I think that is is ridiculous that I have 3 accounts with US Bank, all in good standing, for several years and today when I went to cash a State tax check for $1100. they would not cash it. Told me I had to deposit all but $200 of it. I get direct deposit on one of my accounts every 2 weeks. I've had this account over 5 years in good standing. Whats the purpose of having a checking account if I have to go somewhere else to cash my check?? This will be my last month with US Bank. I will be closing all 3 of my accounts.     My account online said there were still funds in my account literally hours before my check from the military posted to my account.My dog got extremely sick and since it said I still had money I used it to get her fixed in an emergency. And then when it did it said I had three overdraft fees because more things posted that my online account told me about. I called my home branch and he said he would get it fixed. Apparently he lied.     Isetup auto pay for my credit card and the date I used to pay on the account was before the cutoff date, so my payment was made too early and then when the next payment posted, it was treated as a late payment and they charges my account $35.00 late fee. When I called they understood what happened and wrote off the late fee. Last month I sent in a payment to pay off the account and it was 1 day late and i was charged another $35.00 late fee.     Total lack of respect for long standing customers. 1-2-3 Rewards Mastercard issued. Credit score is 820. My account always has lots of cash. I own my home. I have had my employment for 23 years. The interest rate is supposed to be based on "CREDITWORTHINESS" I was given a higher interest rate. Customer service can not explain. I was put on hold and transferred 3 times.     Overdraft fees were imposed 4 times in one day for debits all under $8. The fees totaled $140, and the branch manager would not reverse one of them. The debits hit the account while the bank was reserving money from our account to cover a check card request for our daughter's college rent. The money was not taken out of account, and still hasn't been, but the overdraft charges remain.
