    US Bank is the worst I purchased my vehicle at the end of the lease and they overcharged me by over 2 THOUSAND dollars After 4 phone calls the last lasting over 4 HOURS of Dept. transfers with people that know absolutely nothing about customer service or even how to add, i was told they would refund all but $350.00 at that i had to absorb that loss because it was NOT REFUNDABLE.     19.04.17 at 1600 hrs. Went to U.S. Bank in Ralphs Moorpark Rd. Thousand Oaks, CA. 3 months Previously tried to get a 2k loan.     I needed to have a document notarized and went to US Bank, Beachwood, Ohio branch. However, I made a mistake of signing the document ahead of time and the branch manager Ray Mahoney refused to notarize my document.   • us bank, fraud department run around, money held hostage

    Early in december I ordered new checks from us bank, the checks never arrived because they were stolen and later used to create a counterfeit check. Upon notification from the bank of over draft I called the fraud department, had the bank account frozen, a new one created and they sent me new checks only those were stolen as well.     I have banked with USBANK (formerly Bank Western) for 55 years. We have several accounts with them and have an average balance in total of 200,000.00 to 300,000.00 each month. When asked for a print out of activity on my account (Past the 3 month cutoff) they informed me it would be a charge of $6.00 per month.     I am tired of banks taking money, wrongfully, and pretending like they are doing you a favor. I opened a College Checking account with them 3 years ago in order to handle financial aid, first year went fine, then they started tacking on hidden fees, and started overdrafting me for things I never even bought.   • Balance Inquiry Fees

    My complaint is that if U.S Bank is going to suddenly charge me $2.50 for a BALANCE INQUIRY at a Kwik Trip which I have done hundreds of times before with no fee, then you should at the very LEAST pop up a message that says 'Hey by the way we changed our policies and didnt say it directly in our new policy changes but we're going to be taking the last $15 you have for looking at your balance and double checking in confusion and disbelief.'     The absolute worst experience I have had with banking thus far. The Contour card is detached from the US Banking Branch so anyone working at a branch is unable to assist you. All they can do is call the same number that you can on the back of your card. Most tellers are unsure of what a contour card is and how to set one up.     I have nothing but trouble with U.S. Bank and here to tell you to use another back.     Until I had this incident and decided to complain, I didn't realize the very large number of complains that had been submitted already, now I see why.     I have been a US Bank customer for over 30 years. My daughter recently went to the location in Des Peres, MO with a complaint about fees being charged to her account. When she spoke to someone on the phone, they admitted that they screwed up setting up her account in the beginning, but said a branch manager had to be contacted to straighten it out. We met with the manager and he basically put the blame on my daughter for not contacting them previously and would only refund $50 of the $450 in charges.     U.S. Bank sent my mortgage refund check to my ex-husband, and he was able to cash it, because they made the check out incorrectly. I realize that they are not responsible for my dishonest ex-husband, but they are responsible for making the check payable to both of us since I am on the loan also.     For over a year, since US Bank went to its new online banking interface, there have been an alarming amount of issues that US Bank and in particular, its I.T, Department refuses to admit to.     I went to the local atm branch yesterday (the only one in my city) and noticed they have updated the machine, it now accepts cash or checks directly (not envelope deposits).     This bank has the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. They charge fees for every little thing possible. They have reoccurring over draft fees meaning they keep charging you every 5 days which is rediculous. They charged me 300 in fees for one accidental overdraft.     In 2009 I had a business checking account and credit card with US bank. In 2010 they closed my account with $1700. in it and closed my credit card with $1500. on it. They stole $200 from me.     I opened an account with no fees with a check over $20,000 with US Bank because my Broker banked there and the funds would be available immediately.     I filed Chapter 13 Bankruptcy this year on a different loan account. I didn't have a choice since they sued me. Since April 2014 US Bank has CLOSED the mortgage account and has refused to send me a monthly billing statement.     The link to redeem my flex perks rewards has been broken 2-3 wks. When I call I get get transferred to a personal banker who has no idea what to do & transfers back to rewards. I was told it was going to take 3-4 weeks to complete a HELOC, I pulled out of Wells application because they told me it was going to be 8 weeks and stated my app with US bank. 8 weeks has now past with US Bank and they are telling me it could be several more weeks. No end in sight. Do fall for the bait and switch.

I used my debit card to withdraw cash while traveling overseas. Apparently, all of my accounts are set up for ''expanded account access'' which means when I used my debit card to withdraw funds from my checking account, it magically decided to go right ahead and use my credit card, and count my withdrawals as a ''cash advance'', charging me $10 in fees for each withdrawal, as opposed to the -I think- $2.50 ATM fee that would have been charged had it used my debit card as I intended.

I sent an email to complain and request a refund for the fees, but I highly doubt that a refund will be granted since big banks clearly don't care about their customers.

USbank sold my information to CSI. CSI started charging me saying I was insured to them. I was never been insured to this company. I did not have their policy. I hate USbank for not giving back my money.

US Bank Mortgage division recently decided to eliminate local title companies from providing title insurance on their mortgage transactions. This is appalling because each individual should be able to choose their title company!

Title is part of the closing process and the company that your mortgage from outstanding judgements. They are shutting the door on small and medium size title companies through out the nation, and not caring about who may have lost their jobs in the process in your local communities. This county was founded on free market competition. It is simply not fair to take business away from your local title companies where real people work and depend on business from US Bank for a living!!! US Bank claims they will only use large national title companies because of cost savings, however, this is not true. US Bank is discriminating on locally owned businesses, but at the same time they want small businesses to bank with them!

This is like the national government saying people can only shop at large national grocers such as Costco, Walmart and Sams club and not allowing people to shop at their local grocery stores in order to save money.

I work for a local title company that I love and have worked hard over the years to secure local business relationships with US Bank loan officers to gain their business, but now all the years of work had gone down the tubes, and many people that are in the title industry throughout America are without jobs because of this US Bank Executive Decision!

When the local title companies contacted US Bank to voice their concerns, we were told that is an executive decision and it will not be changed.

Please Let the Executive President of US Bank know what a flawed and unethical business practice is by eliminating local business vendors!!!!

The Executive Chief Officer is Richard K. Davis and he should address this issue

I've been banking with US Bank since the 70's and at the 3rd St and Reed Mkt branch in Bend OR for the past 7 years. I maintain a large savings balance and respectable checking balance. I've never given them any grief. I recently sold a vehicle and was paid in cash. I deposited a large sum but well under the $10K limit. The teller made a comment alluding to my appearance after looking at my account balances. Yes I know as per my teen daughter I look like an old surfer or a mad scientist but heck I'm retired and now avoid the barber and my razor. Knowing there are cash deposit limits and time frames I asked the teller and was handed an info sheet. Isn't your bank the place where you should ask banking questions? The next thing I know I'm reported for "Suspicious Behavior" by the branch apparently due to my appearance and asking a banking question. I don't know if Wells Fargo is any better but when I shared my story they did mention they use discretion and judgement and a long time customer well known in the branch who typically maintains large account balances would not be reported for "Suspicious Behavior". It would appear that US Bank is involved in profiling their customers. Should you be Black, Hispanic, Asian or any other minority I'd especially watch my back when conducting business with this bank as profiling appears to be part of their practices and policies.

For the last four months us bank has been lying to me about some checks i ordered and then finally this week four months later told me they were unable to send them out more to the story but im looking for some people who want to sign a petition and im planning a walk in to the bank with over 100 people and television news reporters

I'm kind of shocked and dismayed and embarrassed to be staring at the teller's cleavages...Doesn't this company have a DECENT BUSINESS DRESS CODE! Have not had very many problems with this bank and hate to go to the hassle of changing banks, but it seems there are far too many branches where I have wondered, lately, why the woman even bothered with ANY shirt at all today...there was so much boob in my face as my transactions were being processed! I'm so frustrated with this stupid bank. they have screwed me agian. i set up direct deposit about 8 weeks ago and every pay check they hold MY money for three days and they never have anything to say but wait. They cant see the money that they have but my employer clearly sent it three days before payday!!!!!!! After I get my money this time I'm done with this bank forever and I will spread the word to whom ever I come in contact with.this bank has caused me late payments on rent and other bills. Convenient card my butt YEAH RIGHt!!!!!!. And maybe you should change your guarntee of your money being there on payday morning because it NEVER is. Customer Service SUCKS TOO!!!!

I have banked with US Bank for about 5 years now. The first experience I had, ended up with me paying $360 out of pocket for the BANKS mistake. I moved and had notified the bank of the new address - I did not receive any statements for awhile (but thought nothing of it really) I then received a letter from US Bank stating I owed $360 due to the fact that my statements were being returned back to them. The BANK didn't change my apartment number, therefore, the statements were being sent to my old apartment, which is why they were being returned to the bank. Turns out, for 3 months, I was being charged $5 a day on the week days and $8 a day on the weekends - for 3 months straight! ALL BECAUSE OF A RETURNED STATEMENT -- WHICH IS FOR MY OWN PERSONAL RECORD!! That is the most obnoxious thing I have EVER heard in my life. Shortly after that, I discontinued banking with them. About 2 years later, I decided to give them another chance (and it was the most convenient bank for me in town) - I signed up for a FREE checking/savings account with NO minimum balance required. Things were alright. A few months ago, I've noticed that I'm being charged a monthly maintenance fee? WTH is that?! I wasn't charged this fee before, so why now? I very rarely even keep my money in my account because I do NOT trust them! I recently bought a brand new car, went to deposit my check today - and was told my account was CLOSED!! I received NO notification of this whatsoever. So now, I have a car payment, car insurance and a few other bills which are taken directly out of my account (car payment is due today) --- but it was canceled! I filed a complaint with the BBB. I would not recommend this bank to ANYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't the point of a bank to securely store your money, rather than having to PAY the BANK your money? I have no words for that bank. TERRIBLE describes it.

Went to a local bank in St Peters MO and hated the experience. It was my first time to visit this branch...two tellers stood there talking and no one even bothered to ask me if I needed help. Thankfully I do not intend to return there anytime soon. What a pathetic attitude toward customers..lousy tellers!!

This is the worst bank ever!!! I royally screwed up when I left my small town bank for this big money HUNGRY stealing bank!! I don't get how any dummy can give this crooked money stealing bank? I found out the hard way if you use an ATM? The fees you get charged by that ATM is usually 2.00 and up? Well US bank also charges another 2.50 on top of the 2.00!! Sound crooked? Sure is in my books! My small town bank never sucked money out of me like USuck Bank! USuck Bank says it all!! Beware, stay with your current bank unless you want to donate your pay check to USuck Bank?

USBANK lost my paycheck in the ATM box for 6 days, withdrew the total amount from my account immediatly and did not notify me AT ALL in ANY FORM then charged me for the overdraft fees on both my credit card and checking account. These fees are almost $40 with an additional $10 fee attached and totalled several hundred dollars due to rent and bills being due! After being on hold for TWO HOURS they informed me the "guy who seperates cash from checks just lost the check for 6 days and didn't know where it was", but hey they found it! If I hadn't thought someone had stolen my identity and called them, they probably wouldn't have even looked for the check or notified me! Their online banking does not follow through on atomatic payments or transfers, even with the one month acctivation time, they harass and never really know whats going on when they call or you call them, just incompetent, rude service. I was hung up on, lied to, kept on hold for hours and forced to close my account due to thier lack of professionalism and management of my money! Unacceptable!

When your charges are just in authorizations status they charge overdraft fees. Even though you have money to cover everything that has not cleared the bank. So if a authorization never comes in say it was voided you have overdraft fees for items that you actually had the money available for. Seems like a racket to me.

I have banked with US Bank for over ten years and have found their employees consistently friendly, professional, and generally knowledgeable with the exception of a few new ones. There have been a few charges along the way that were unexpected but the manager readily reversed them when I asked politely, even when my error.

I suspect most of these complaints are from people who expect the bank to bail them out of their own problems such as overdrafts, poor credit and sloppy financial management. Don't blame the bank for your incompetence!
